FREE INTRO: Come and see if you like it! Regular classes begin in January. I love Pickleball! I find it a great way to get active, connect with the community, and experience some good ole' competition! But as Pickleball is getting increasingly popular, so are the injuries that come along with it. The most common Pickleball injuries are to the: -Ankles -Achilles tendon -Knees -Shoulders -Wrists/Elbows -Lower Back -Falls Stretching and strengthening the muscles in these areas, and working on balance can help to prevent all of these injuries, and this is a class, specifically created to target each of these areas. During this 1hr class, we will start with a warm up that you can learn and use before your Pickleball practice and matches, and then flow through some yoga poses (beginner friendly) to build strength and flexibility in the body. We'll finish with some relaxation and breathing techniques to calm the mind and nervous system. All of these skills will hopefully decrease your chances of injury, and increase your skills in the game! Classes are at the Sutton Town Hall (Ville de Sutton), located at 11 Rue Principale S. (Enter at the left side of the building, where the ramp is located) Please bring your own mat, or contact me if you'd like me to bring you one to borrow. Questions?
