Shining Your Chakras
7 Monthly Sessions to Explore Yourself and Shine
Starting this October, Andie invites you on a journey of self exploration, through the lenses of the seven chakras. Join us at The Well for an accessible, practical exploration of the chakra system, that you can apply to your everyday life. We will combine the teachings of the chakras, or energy centres, from the book “Eastern Body Western Mind” by Anodea Judith, and compare it to yoga philosophy from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, as a framework to understand your whole self in body, mind and spirit. Each 2-hour session blends yoga postures, breathwork, philosophy, teachings, reflection and discussion. The activities will help you to understand what it means for a chakra to be balanced, deficient, or excessive, and to shine light into yourself on a deeper level. This is an opportunity to get to know the true meaning of yoga, as well as your true higher self. No prior experience or knowledge is needed.

The Chakra Series at a Glance:

Root Chakra (November 22nd): Grounding, safety, the physical body, and roots of yoga.

Sacral Chakra (December 20th): Sensations, emotions, pleasure, and letting go.

Solar Plexus (January 17th): Confidence, personal power, energy, and motivation.

Heart Chakra (February 21st): Loving kindness, compassion, balance, grief and suffering.

Throat Chakra (March 21st): Truth, expression, communication, vibration and resonance.

Third Eye (April 18th): Clarity, intuition, visualization and manifestation
