These private sessions are very different from a typical yoga class. In a Yoga for Pain session, we work on re-alignment of the body, after our bodies become misaligned from injuries, traumas, or habits, eventually causing chronic pain in the body. We may use only one or two postures in the entire session, but we will work on perfecting those postures so that we can re-pattern the body in a different way, in order to reduce or even eliminate pain. You will learn stretches and poses that you can do on your own, so that you can continue working to eliminate pain at home. These sessions are private, so we can work on your specific body needs for whatever pain you are going through. This class is best for those with chronic pain, that has been ongoing for 3 months or more. For acute pain from recent injuries, I would recommend seeing a physio therapist.


Cancellation Policy

For cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, a charge of 50% will be requested. No charge for rescheduling.
